7 Best Bubble Tea in Toronto (2024)

Bubble tea, also known as Boba and Pearl milk tea, has gotten recent popularity as locations started to appear all over Toronto around 2010.

With the low costs combined with easy ingredients, Bubble Tea is an amazing way for restaurants to attract young millennials and Gen Z’s to a spot where they can hangout and enjoy tasty Bubble Tea at affordable prices.

Bubble Tea originated back in the 1980’s in Taiwan where its main ingredients are Dairy milk, brewed tea, creamer, sugar, fruits and other sweet flavorings. What really makes it enjoyable is the tapioca which are seen as the gummy black balls you see in peoples drinks.

While there are dozens of locations all over Toronto, I want to show you the top 7 best bubble tea spots in Toronto which include single owned locations as well as popular chains.

ChungChun Hot Dog is a well known Korean hot dog chain with over 200 locations globally, and several around the GTA.

What popularized ChungChun is it was founded in 2017 in Seoul, South Korea and that made them so popular was the fact that they specialized in Korean hotdogs.

With so much success, they chain expanded quite fast where they now have over 200 locations as of 2020.

Its hard to compete with a restaurant which pushes its efforts to ensure their one product is the best in the business.
