As Mumbai started to develop in the 1990’s with Bollywood and corporations, this started to bring in a lot of immigrants all over South Asia. With Mumbai’s large growth this also attracted restaurant owners who wanted to share their Indian dishes fused with cultures all around.
This led to the inspiration of Chef Santosh who wanted to bring the flavors of Mumbai India to Canmore where originally there wasn’t a lot of options.
Canmore generates 1000’s of travelers every year, and enjoying a nice Indian meal after snowboarding, golfing and hiking around Canmore is an amazing feeling.
Chef Santosh takes pride in supporting local Canmore farmers for the use of fresh halal meats and produce.

Mad Dog is a fantastic café to visit if you are looking for Indian/British fusion. Although it isn’t necessarily a place to dine-in, if you are looking for a quick tasty meal this is the place I would recommend the most.
